Without safe blood even the healthy person will become sick and die.There should be a sustained campaign to donate blood regularly in colleges, sport fields, corporate bodies, NGOs, institutions. The best cause is voluntary blood donation, motivating people to go door to door creating awareness on the acute shortage of safe blood in the country.Indian Society of Blood Transfusion & Immunohaematology’s (ISBTI) goal is to achieve 100% voluntary blood donation in the country. With sincere determination and dedication I am sure that ISBTI will be the country’s leader in blood donation.
