A voluntary blood donation camp has been organized by the department of blood transfusion and immunohaematology. Voluntary blood donation organization has taken part in it and blood was collected taking all precautions in view of COVID 19. Awareness program was organized by the department and an appeal was done to all the citizens of twin district Rajouri and poonch to donate blood voluntarily and they are the only source of blood. Life of thalassemic patients and many more diseases in which patients bone marrow lacks the efficiency of formation of blood depends upon the healthy people i.e YOU. By donating blood you people are giving hope to these patients to live some more days with their near and dear ones. Donot break their hope kindly come forward to donate blood at your nearest blood donation camps or blood banks.
